Our History The Water Specialist was started in 1972 by Ray Sparrow and is located in Hillsborough, NC. Our location enables us to provide services over the tri-state area of North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina. The Water Specialist offers comprehensive, integrated groundwater analysis, well recovery, pumps, plumbing and water treatment systems and services. Ray has personally trained all our technicians in water treatment and well restoration and often speaks professionally on these topics. We are the region's leader in the science of targeted well hydrofracture and no-drill zoned well restoration.
