This recent series combines my experiences as a painter and as a wheelthrown stoneware potter. In 1986, I began working with rice paper, developing the Shell Series paintings: ink and acrylic impressions of nautical creatures on rice paper. Rice paper paintings permanently collaged to clear glass vessels have evolved into the Chamber Dreams (TM) papered lanterns. They are collected worldwide.
