This was a hot dry day and I took this picture of the 2 trees, the 2 friends, neither in the shade of the other; and then added the 2 tiny humans walking the path, neither in the shade of the other. I held back on publishing this, it has a quirky composition, but entered it into the New Works show on a whim and much to my surprise it got in and has been a popular work (maybe because I stole the palette from a Monet from the first Normandy period).
